Since the beginning of my academic career, I have always engaged with innovative knowledge exchange activities within the international business field as well as Higher Education institutions where I have had the privilege to work. I view such activities not only as a way of disseminating knowledge in an impactful way but also engaging research with the wider society in a responsible manner.

Responsible Research in Business & Management on Tour Symposium

As the Founder and Co-Organiser of the Symposium I strategically develop and lead a number of knowledge exchange and engagement activities focused on enhancing the Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) global network's vision in Higher Education institutions around the world by influencing and supporting their scholarly activities toward responsible and credible science.
Overall Objective:
The overall objective of the symposium is to advance a critical and ethical understanding of what responsible science is so that credible and trustworthy knowledge is created to address problems important to business and society.
Specific Objectives:
In line with the above and upon the completion of the symposium, participants will have deeper understanding of the answers and nuances pertaining to the following:

To advance and influence the awareness of the RRBM’s principles and initiatives centered on responsible research

To pinpoint the understanding of current debates and policies centered on responsible research

To enhance the significance of paradigms in qualitative research

To identify knowledge of practical strategies for achieving responsible research impact

To develop an understanding of what it means to be a responsible scientist in business and management disciplines

Participants:
The event is aimed at doctoral and junior scholars in the business and management fields, and it is hope that it will help them not only with planning but also undertaking responsible research to advance scientific knowledge as well as enhance professional standards in those fields.

As the Co-track chair of the "Research Methods" track during the Academy's 2nd online annual meeting I not only co-lead the assessment of 22 paper submissions but also co-developed 2 competitive and 1 interactive sessions in addition to 5 panels. The aim of such activities was not only to recognise and highlight outstanding use of innovative and non-traditional methodological approaches to investigate pertinent international business phenomenon but also to showcase rigorous, replicable and transparent use of methods while seeking cutting-edge developments in mixed-methods, qualitative and qualitative methodological approaches in the international business community.

As the Founder and Chair of the symposium I brought together leading research methodologists to explore various approaches to data collection and analysis as well as to promote the adoption of trustworthy, credible and rigorous approaches to undertake responsible data collection and analysis in strategy and international business fields. In doing so, in 2019 the symposium offered 2 keynotes and 7 interactive sessions while in 2020 it offered 2 keynotes, 6 interactive sessions and 4 panels. The aim of such activities was to engage all participants in active knowledge exchange discussions. It is worth noting that such an innovative symposium has not been developed before in the School.

By doing so, the aim of the symposium was not only to enhance professional standards but also to engage in an impactful scholarship in those fields. The symposium was organised over 5 years offering of the event, a range of diverse activities comprising of 11 keynote speakers and 37 interactive sessions.

As one of the four co-founders and the Academy of International Business Research Methods - Shared Interest Group I contribute to the development of scholarly engagement with regards to research methodologies within the international business filed. More specifically, in my role as the Vice-President ProgrammeI developed, lead and organised a diver number of innovative activities during the Academy's annual meetings between 2016 - 2020 for which I received outstanding recognition. In my role are the Vice-President Responsible Research I facilitated, developed and strengthen a cooperative relationship between the Academy's Research Methods - Shared Interest Group and the Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) global network. As part of the cooperation I found the "RRBM on Tour Symposium".
45th Academy of International Business - UK&I Chapter Meeting

From 2017 To 2018
As the conference chair I lead the organisation of the 45th AIB-UK&I annual chapter meeting titled “International business strategies in a changing commercial and political landscape”. In my role I not only developed but also lead 16 conference tracks to which 137 papers were accepted. Such papers were then decided into competitive and interactive in order to facilitate diver interactions during the event. The event attracted 145 participants from across the world, 90 from the UK and Ireland and the remaining from Sweden, Brazil, Finland and Italy. It is worth noting that for the first time in the history of the AIB-UK&I, Track-chairs were introduced under my leadership to support the paper review process. Such practice has since been implemented by the AIB-UK&I board members and hosts.
European Academy of International Business Annual Meeting

As the Co-track chair of the "Research Methods" track and chair of various competitive and interactive sessions during the European Academy's meeting I not only co-lead the assessment of paper submissions but also ensure to facilitate numerous vibrant discussions and knowledge exchange activities for engaged and impactful scholarship.
Doctoral Colloquium
From 2009 To Present
As a panellist at various Doctoral Colloquiums I actively contribute to the development of young doctoral students in the field of International Business. In doing so and as part of divers knowledge exchange activities, I not only discuss their research plans and works-in-progress as a member of distinguished international faculty but also mentor them as well as facilitate international network of professionals links for them.
