As the Business School's Senior Management Team member, I contributed to the development and implementation of the School's strategy across research, education, resources, faculty and professional services, supported the School through AACSB and EQUIS re-accreditations (awarded 5 years in February 2019 and June 2019 respectively), adaptation to online delivery due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as represented the School at various boards and committees.

As the conference chair I lead the organisation of the 45th AIB-UK&I annual chapter meeting titled “International business strategies in a changing commercial and political landscape”. The goal of the meeting was not only to stimulate a lively debate and to create an environment for learning and sharing research ideas but also to position the Department and the School within the strategy and international business field nationally and internationally as a Center of Excellence.

In my role as the Vice-President Programme I played a strategic role in developing and designing research methods workshops, clinics and masterclasses for the participants of the Academy of International Business annual meetings. As part of my role, I have also co--found the Best Research Methods Paper Award at the Academy of International Business – UK&I and the Central and Easter European Chapters sponsored by the University of Birmingham (UK).

The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is a global organisation founded in 1967 which focuses primarily on international business schools' accreditation and membership with regards to postgraduate management education. As an assessor and panel member I not only assess but also lead and consult on the quality of and accreditation assessments of business schools associated with AMBA accreditation.

Responsible Research in Business and Management Network
From 2020 To Present
The Working Board of the Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) is a globally and disciplinary diverse group of 20 leaders from business schools and affiliated associations. Based on the Bylaws approved in 2020, the Working Board of 20 members is elected from open nominations. In my role as the Working Board Member I work closely with various accreditation bodies (such as AACSB, EFMD & PRME) to inspire, encourage and support business schools and scholars worldwide with a successful transformation of their research toward responsible science, producing credible knowledge that is ultimately useful for addressing problems important to business and society.

Responsible Research in Business and Management on Tour Symposium

As the Founder and Co-Organiser of the Symposium I strategically develop and lead a number of knowledge exchange and engagement activities focused on enhancing the Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) global network's vision in Higher Education institutions in Europe by influencing and supporting their scholarly activities toward responsible and credible science.The overall objective of the symposium is to advance a critical and ethical understanding of what responsible science is so that credible and trustworthy knowledge is created to address problems important to business and society (Link).

In my advisory capacity I strategically assist the GEM&L with its connections across research, education and the professional world in a way that it not only strengthens but also informs management education in today’s academic institutions as well as research associations.

Consortium for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA)

In my advisory capacity I strategically assist the CARMA with helping faculty, graduate students and professionals learn of current developments in various areas of research methods and statistics so that the focus on research methods is not only relevant and impactful but also scientifically responsible to social science and practice.
The CARMA is a non-profit unit at the Texas Tech University. CARMA was established in 1997 by Dr. Larry J. Williams (former Chairperson of the Research Methods Division of the Academy of Management and Founding Editor of Organizational Research Methods) and was located at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia from 1997-2009. From 2010-2014 CARMA was located at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Then, from 2014-2016 we were hosted at the University of North Dakota and from 2016-2019 we were hosted at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA).
